OCHA issues a flood warning in Sudan

10 July 2024 (PEN) The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) has warned of flash floods in Sudan, as heavy rains reaching 14 mm were observed in the Sinja region. Heavy rains are expected to increase in areas of South Sudan from July 10 to 17, which may lead to floods.

OCHA advised everyone to take the necessary precautions and stay safe during this critical period.
