Opening of the new Hilla Hospital in Al-Hasahissa locality

September 17, 2023 (SUNA) Dr. Osama Abdul Rahman Ahmed Al-Faki, Director General of the Ministry of Health in the state of Gezira inaugurated this morning the New Hilla Charitable Hospital in Hassahisa locality, with the support of the Salsabil Charitable Organization in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Mr. Mujahid Abdul Rahman Bandi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the hospital, pointed out that the hospital consists of two wards, a pharmacy and a laboratory and provides all treatment services by 12 specialists and 4 general doctors to serve the new Hilla area and its surroundings, praising the popular effort in providing devices and equipment at a cost of more than EGP 25 million, indicating that the hospital will provide services throughout the day.

For his part, Mr. Mohamed Al-Bushra, Executive Director of the locality, stressed that the hospital is a real addition to medical services, announcing the hospital's support with EGP 3 million directed to the services in the hospital and the commitment to harness all capabilities to advance the hospital, praising the great efforts of the Board of Trustees.

The Director General of the Ministry of Health confirmed that the locality of Hassahisa is considered a destination for patients from various localities of the state, reiterating his ministry's commitment to complete the deficiencies in the hospital so that it can play its full role in the medical service to citizens.

Dr. Kamal El-Din Awad, representative of the Wali of Gezira State, Minister of Education in charge, addressed the partnership between the Ministry of Education and Health to serve citizens, announcing the support of the state government for the development and improvement of medical and therapeutic services in the locality.
