The Executive Secretary of IGAD congratulates Eid Al-Adha and calls for peace

June 15, 2024 (PEN) On the occasion of Eid al-Adha, the Executive Secretary of the Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD), Dr. Workneh Gebehu, said: “I extend my warmest congratulations to everyone in the IGAD region. In the midst of these difficult times, especially for my brothers and sisters in Republic of Sudan, let this holiday be an opportunity to reflect on our common humanity and the importance of peace in good times and bad.”

“I wish you all a blessed Eid, and we hope to continue striving for a harmonious and peaceful region,” Dr. Gebeho added.
