The Humanitarian Fund allocates 167 million to help those affected by the conflict in Sudan

October 3, 2023 (pen) The United Nations Fund and the Joint Country Fund have allocated $167 million to provide life-saving assistance to millions of people since the outbreak of war in Sudan and neighboring countries.

The Sudan Humanitarian Fund provided $51.4 million, while the Central Fund allocated $60 million to respond to emergency situations.

It is noteworthy that the ongoing conflict in Sudan since last April has led to the displacement of more than one million people to countries neighboring Sudan.
