The Sudanese Conference announces its participation in the Cairo Conference to resolve the Sudanese crisis

July 3, 2024 (PEN) The Sudanese Congress Party announced that it has received an invitation from the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs to participate in the Sudanese Political and Civil Forces Conference, scheduled to be held in Cairo on July 6 and 7, 2024. The conference aims to discuss stopping the war, addressing the urgent humanitarian issues that resulted from it, and creating the climate for a political path that addresses the issues of the national crisis.

The party expressed its welcome of the invitation and its commitment to making all efforts for the success of the conference, with the aim of ending the suffering of the Sudanese people and returning the country to the path of democratic civil transformation. The party also stressed the importance of removing all dangers that threaten the unity of the nation and the safety of innocent civilians in Sudan.

At the end of its statement, the Sudanese Congress Party thanked the government of the Arab Republic of Egypt for its appreciated efforts in supporting international efforts to resolve the Sudanese crisis.
