King Salman Relief continues its support for the neediest families in Sudan

December 15, 2024 (PEN) Within the third phase of the Food Security Support Project in Sudan for the year 2024, the King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Aid distributed 1,200 food baskets to the most needy displaced families in Setit locality in Kassala State, benefiting 7,200 individuals, or 1,200 families.

In Al-Butana locality in Gedaref State, the center distributed 990 food baskets, benefiting 5,940 individuals, comprising 990 families.

This support comes, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), within the framework of relief and humanitarian efforts provided by Saudi Arabia through the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, with the aim of alleviating the suffering of the Sudanese people due to the humanitarian crisis they are going through and enhancing food security in the country.
