King Salman Relief distributes food baskets in Kassala and Gedaref states

December 2, 2024 (PEN ) The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center distributed 1,900 food baskets to the most needy displaced families in New Halfa locality in Kassala State, targeting 11,400 individuals as part of the third phase of the Food Security Support Project in Sudan for the year 2024.

In Gedaref State, the Center distributed 1,841 food baskets to needy families in Gedaref Locality, benefiting 11,046 individuals, as part of the same humanitarian project.

This effort comes within the framework of the humanitarian initiatives of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, provided by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, with the aim of alleviating the suffering of the Sudanese people as a result of the current humanitarian crisis, and enhancing food security in the affected areas.
