The International Organization for Migration provides relief materials to the displaced in the White Nile

January 14, 2024 (PEN) The International Organization for Migration, in cooperation with the Sudanese Red Crescent, provided urgent relief materials to the displaced in the White Nile following the escalation of violence in Sudan.

The organization explained that more than 27,000 people received non-food items and hygiene supplies with support from the European Union for Civil and Humanitarian Protection.

She also stated that the needs are still huge throughout the country following the escalation of the clashes that have been taking place since April 15, 2023 between the armed forces and the Rapid Support Forces.
