International Migration announces the transfer of 50 relief trucks from Chad to West Darfur

February 5, 2024 (PEN) The International Organization for Migration announced the transfer of more than 50 relief trucks, in cooperation with the International Solidarity Organization, from Chad to West Darfur.

The organization stated that the aid will reach more than 82 thousand people, stressing that its cross-border operations are a lifeline for the most vulnerable communities affected by the conflict in Sudan.

The International Organization for Migration said in a tweet , “The protracted crisis in Sudan increases the vulnerability of those who are already suffering.”

The organization called for action and expansion of the humanitarian response to the devastating crisis affecting the Sudanese citizen.
