International Migration provides cash assistance to thousands of displaced people in Sudan

June 30, 2024 (PEN) The International Organization for Migration (IOM) has announced cash assistance aimed at giving individuals more flexibility to meet their diverse needs in their unique circumstances. In the cities of Shendi and Wadi Halfa, 8,000 displaced people have received cash assistance from the organization, and it is seeking to reach another 21,000 displaced people in different states.

This support is provided by the International Organization for Migration thanks to funds from the United Nations Emergency Response Fund.
