Qatar Red Crescent launches a relief convoy for the states of Al-Jazeera and the Nile River

September 26, 2023 (pen) The Qatar Red Crescent, in the presence of His Excellency Ambassador Mohammed Ibrahim Al-Sada, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Sudan, inaugurated a relief convoy in the city of Port Sudan.

The Qatari Red Crescent stated that the convoy includes food and supplies for those affected by the conflict in the states of Al-Jazeera and the Nile River.

The Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Sudan said, "This support comes as an extension of the aid provided by the State of Qatar through its charitable institutions, which is 80 tons, which will be distributed in cooperation between the Qatari Crescent and its Sudanese brother, and in coordination with the Humanitarian Aid Commission."
