UNICEF: Sudanese refugee children need peace above all else

February 16, 2024 (PEN) The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) confirmed that 380,000 children fled the war in Sudan and took refuge in the state of Chad.

UNICEF stated in a tweet via (X) that many refugee children are exposed to deadly diseases due to the lack of safe drinking water and basic hygiene.

She added that she is there to provide clean water and health services, but what the children need is peace.
