The Kuwaiti Prime Minister calls on all parties to immediately stop the fighting in Sudan

September 22, 2023 (pen) Kuwaiti Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmed Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah called on all parties to the conflict in Sudan to immediately stop the fighting, resort to the logic of dialogue, and return to the peaceful path in a way that preserves the security and stability of Sudan and its territorial integrity.

This came during his speech by the State of Kuwait before the United Nations General Assembly for its 78th session.

Since last April 15, the Armed Forces and the Rapid Support Forces have been engaged in a conflict that has led to the death of more than 5,000 people and the displacement of millions, according to United Nations reports.
