The Fund explained in its report that among the displaced residents of the city of Wad Madani in the state of Al-Jazeera, it is estimated that more than 60,000 women and girls are of childbearing age, including 6,000 women who are currently pregnant.

The United Nations Population Fund stated that more than 270,000 people in the state need humanitarian assistance, including 147,000 women and girls of reproductive age. He explained that among these, 15,000 women currently need sexual and reproductive services, and that about 95,000 women need services to prevent gender-based violence.
