Toby Harward discusses humanitarian issues with a number of organizations working in Sudan

15 July 2024 (PEN) Toby Harward, Deputy UN Humanitarian Coordinator for Sudan, held fruitful discussions with a number of key humanitarian organizations working in Zalingei, on humanitarian issues. These organizations included Sudanese Awafi, Doctors Without Borders, and the Norwegian Refugee Council, in addition to other international and national NGOs.

Harward stressed that these organizations have led the humanitarian response in hard-to-reach areas throughout Sudan during the past 16 months, which requires more support from the United Nations and the international community to ensure the continuation of their humanitarian efforts.
