Qatar Charity distributes food aid to the displaced in Port Sudan

January 28, 2024 (PEN) Qatar Charity distributed food aid to 20 centers to shelter displaced people in Port Sudan, Red Sea State.

The aid comes as part of a project to support affected families in Sudan with 50,000 food baskets with support from the Qatar Fund for Development, where the aid was distributed in the areas of Hadal, Dim al-Nur, al-Thawra, al-Ittidha, al-Kuriya, Dim Jaber, and Salalab.

It is noteworthy that Qatar Charity has participated in humanitarian interventions since the outbreak of the conflict on April 15 of last year between the armed forces and the Rapid Support Forces.
