Mandip O'Brien concludes her work as UNICEF Representative in Sudan

2 July 2024 (PEN) Mandip O'Brien, Representative of the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) in Sudan, announced the end of her last three years working with the organization, emphasizing the special bond formed during this period and the lifelong connection she will maintain. With UNICEF.

O'Brien expressed her great hope that peace and humanity will soon prevail in Sudan, noting her commitment and confidence in her team and partners in supporting children's rights and ensuring a safe life and a bright future for them in the country.

O'Brien has worked at the United Nations over the past 22 years across three agencies, in the field in South Asia, East Asia, the Middle East and North Africa, and in headquarters offices. Ms. Mandeep has been working since August 2021 as a UNICEF Country Representative in Sudan.
