The King Salman Relief Center continues to support food security in Sudan

May 31, 2024 (PEN) The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center distributed food aid in several areas of Sudan with the aim of supporting food security for those affected and displaced during the current year.

In Dalgo locality in the Northern State, the center distributed 576 food baskets to the most needy families, benefiting 3,312 individuals. In Qalaa Al-Nahl locality in Gedaref State, 763 food baskets were distributed to affected families, benefiting 4,516 individuals.

The Center also distributed 1,140 food baskets in Red Sea State, benefiting 5,003 displaced individuals.

This aid comes within the framework of the relief and humanitarian efforts provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to needy and affected people around the world, with the aim of alleviating the suffering of the Sudanese people in light of the humanitarian crises they face.
