Food and shelter aid from the King Salman Center reaches thousands of displaced people in Sudan

June 9, 2024 (PEN) The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center distributed 442 food baskets to the most needy and displaced families in Al-Dabbah locality in the northern state, benefiting 2,532 individuals. This distribution comes within the second phase of the project to support food security in the Republic of Sudan.

It also distributed 500 bags of personal care supplies to the most needy and displaced families in the city of Kabushi, in Shendi locality, in the River Nile State, benefiting 2,875 individuals. This distribution came within a project to provide urgent shelter aid to the Republic of Sudan for the year 2024.

The Center confirmed that these works come within the framework of a series of relief and humanitarian projects implemented by the Kingdom through the King Salman Relief Centre. To help the Sudanese people face the humanitarian crisis they are going through.
