OCHA delivers 44 aid trucks to Darfur and Kordofan

October 19, 2023 (pen) The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs in Sudan said that, thanks to the negotiations that took place, humanitarian workers were able to move in Sudan.

The office stated that 44 trucks carrying life-saving aid had moved after being stuck for more than 6 weeks due to insecurity in Darfur and Kordofan, and the trucks were carrying food supplies, non-food items, and health supplies.

It is noteworthy that the United Nations Office for Humanitarian Affairs has participated in humanitarian interventions in Sudan since the outbreak of the ongoing conflict on April 15.
