Palestinian Foreign Ministry Calls on the International Community to Hold the Israeli Occupation Accountable

3 September 2023 (QNA) - The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs called on the international community to exert real international pressure to force the Israeli entity to stop all its illegal unilateral measures, and also called for measures to control and dismantle settler militias and terrorist organizations, in addition to drying up their sources of funding.

In a statement today, the Ministry condemned the escalation in the attacks and crimes of the occupation forces and settlers against Palestinians, their land, properties, homes and holy sites, the latest of which was the terrorist attacks by settlers under the protection of the occupation forces against unarmed civilians in the town of Qusra, south of Nablus.

It held the Israeli entity fully and directly responsible for settler attacks and attacks and their grave consequences on the battlefield.

The Foreign Ministry pointed out that the weakness and low international reactions and attitudes towards the crimes of the settlers, and the failure to implement the United Nations resolutions on the Palestinian issue, perpetuate the occupation and deepen the episodes of the apartheid regime, and encourage settlers and their terrorist organizations to commit more attacks on Palestinian citizens.

The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs stressed that the protection and immunity provided by some major Powers to the Israeli entity ensures its continuous impunity and deepens the injustice and oppression inflicted on the Palestinian people.
