Save the Children International imports 20 tons of life-saving medicines to Sudan

September 12, 2023(pen) Save the Children International announced its success in importing the third airlift of essential medicines to Sudan.

The 20 tonnes of these life-saving supplies will be distributed to its health facilities and centres in Sudan to support the recovery of children sick or injured affected by the conflict.

Save the Children said that since April 2023, the organization has supported 70,504 people by responding to emergencies through health consultations and medicines. Through ongoing programs, they were able to reach more than 400,000 adults and children with health services from January to June 2023.
