An upcoming visit by the Ethiopian Prime Minister to Sudan to discuss the current crisis

July 8, 2024 (PEN) Informed sources said that the Ethiopian Prime Minister, Dr. Abiy Ahmed, will travel to Sudan tomorrow, Tuesday, to hold closed discussions with the Chairman of the Sovereignty Council, Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, regarding restoring peace and stability in Sudan.

Social media pioneers circulated a picture showing preparations to receive Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed in Port Sudan.

During a session of the Ethiopian Parliament, Abiy Ahmed stressed, saying: “We will not take advantage of the war conditions that the brotherly Sudanese people are going through, who stood by our side in all difficult times, and hosted the Ethiopians on their lands and helped them.”
