Qatar launches new food aid to a number of states

January 8, 2024 (PEN) The Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Sudan, Mr. Mohammed Ibrahim Al-Sada, inaugurated new shipments of food aid to the states of Kassala, the North, and the Red Sea.

Qatar Charity explained that the aid comes with funding from the Qatar Fund for Development, and the project aims to provide 50,000 food baskets to families affected by the war and the displaced in Sudan.

His Excellency the Ambassador affirmed that the State of Qatar will continue its humanitarian efforts aimed at helping the Sudanese people affected by the war. He also praised the ongoing relief interventions of the Qatar Fund for Development and Qatar Charity since the beginning of the war.
